iPhone to Support Weapons of War
Apple iPhone is not only useful for communication and entertainment. On the battlefield, the iPhone can be used as a ‘weapon’ supporters. Certainly not by using the iPhone as a direct weapon to kill the enemy. However, an application developed by the military contractor Raytheon, allows the iPhone to support military tasks in the field.
This application is called Toker Force One, which was announced in the third week of December 2009, providing some essential services that can be used not only by soldiers but also by police, firefighters and medical personnel.
Armed with a specially designed software, as well as GPS and mobile phone networks, Toker Force One can trace the position or the presence of the enemy or friend in the map provided and always updated. He also provides secure communications, similar to exchange messages on Facebook, allowing each military unit communicate with each other. (geek)
